Locating the Point of Repair within Your NoCo Pipes
If you are experiencing pipe problems like slow flushing drains, sewer backups, leaking faucets, or consistent clogs, you do not need to reach for chemical drain cleaners for fear that professional assistance with your pipes will only involve costly expenses. The point repair process begins with a standard sewer camera inspection that can take place on the interior or exterior of your house. Pipe inspections or sewer camera inspections involve our team locating the access point on your property or creating a strategically placed hole above the pipe that we need to access. Through the access point, we will insert a high-resolution sewer camera attached to either a flexible rod or sewer camera transporter. As we move the camera through your pipes, it will provide us with a live-feed of your pipes interior allowing us to see the exact problem within your pipe system.
Prepping Your Pipes for Repair
After your pipe has been inspected and we have located the section of your pipe that needs repair or replacement, we will clean your drain to make sure it is clear of all debris and buildup. Our most reliable method of drain cleaning is hydro jetting. Hydro jetting involves a hose with a special, multi directional nozzle being inserted into your drain. Once the hose is securely in place, we will release high-pressure water into your drain. The water pressure is powerful enough to remove calcified clogs and tree root invasion, but it is not powerful enough to damage your pipe. When the pipe is properly cleaned, it will be ready for point repair.
Methods of Point Repair for Your Colorado Pipes
When it comes to point repair there are two methods that can effectively repair a section of your pipe: pipe lining and pipe bursting.
The pipe lining process solves cracks and leaks in sections of your pipe. The process begins with our team saturating a felt liner with epoxy. Once the liner is saturated, it is inserted into your pipes and pushed through your system. As the liner is pushed through your pipes, it coats the interior of your pipe with the resin and left to cure in place. When the resin has hardened, we will remove the liner, leaving you with a brand new pipe inside of the damaged section of your existing pipe.
The pipe bursting process will be used if a certain section of your pipe is severely damaged or completely collapsed. Pipe bursting involves two access points: one for the entry of the new pipe and one for the exit of the bursting head. Pipe bursting involves a new pipe with a special bursting had attached to it moving through your damaged pipe to break it up and push it into the surrounding soil. When the bursting head has moved all the way through your pipe, a section of your pipe system will be replaced with a brand-new pipe. Our team will remove the bursting head and fit the new pipe to your existing system.
